The film promoted the character, inspiring companies to create merchandise such as posters, dolls, teddies, and toys.

The film became a sensation and sparked up a partnership with LEGO, creating toys and movies with the toy company.

Furthermore, the film was later adapted into a video game called 'Gotham Knights'
